Outreach Dual Language Teaching Method ..... assuring you success at the AccA exams...

Each module is conducted over a 15 weeks period.

Each week students are required to attend class online or at the premises of one of Outreach Partner Institutions. Each session is about 4 hours consisting of:

1. Viewing a lecture in the native language of the student.
2. Viewing the same lecture in English language.

For classes conducted at the premise of Outreach's Partner Institutions, a tutor with local language capability may be available to answer questions. For online students, questions may be fielded as text, voice or drawing messages to online tutors using Outreach's innovative multimedia interface.

1. After attending each lecture, students are required to logged onto their Outreach account to do a MCQ- based evaluation test. The test is in English and is based on Outreach's comprehensive lecture notes. The test will reinforce your understanding of the lecture (in English) you just attended. There is such a test for each chapter of the module. As each module has between 16-30 chapters, students are expected to do one to two such tests each week. These tests are automatically marked by the system, and students will get the results of the test immediately on completing the tests. Students performance in the test are recorded by the system, and students will be duly informed of their progress in the module at regular interval. Students not performing up to the mark for passing the AccA exams will be informed automatically by the system via emails or SMS on the remedial actions to take. We believe in consistent progress. Your success is our success. We track your progress by the minute ! We will remind you and remind you, again and again, to follow our remedial actions, once we detect problems. We stop only when we know you are ready for the exam...

BUT we need you to know that we are not magicians. Your success can only be achieved through your own effort. You will not be lost for direction. We tell you exactly what to do to move forward. We provide you a well guided path for you to reach your destination earlier than anyone else.....

2. At regular interval, students will be given assignments that are structured in ways similar to the final exam of the module. This will also be online, and students are expected to go online to do the assignments. The assignment will be graded by tutors and students will receive grades and comments on the assignments.

• Towards the end of the module, there will be a full length mock exam. This mock exam will be graded and students will receive comments.
• Each student will receive a report card on their performance in each module, and the corrective action (if any) that the students should take to enhance their chance of success at the ACCA examinations.
